Stone Family Gathering - August 29th - Sept 2nd
Virtual SFG
Can't make it in person? We also offer Stones Family Gathering virtually. There are away boxes available, and they will have really neat stuff in them. We have a DnD one-shot session planned for the night of the vigil, lots of crafts, discussions, and more planned. We'll be making Stone Stuffies and blessing them with crafted flowers, and of course enjoying hybrid offering from camp.

Call to Action: the Pathways of Service
Pathways of Service are what we call the various groups of humans that make the Stone Family Gathering... work. Participation in the Work is half the fun of the event, and we try to build events that everyone can contribute to. Areas that need a few extra hands include:
On-Site at BGR
- Stone Bus: To cope with the hills of BGR, we're launching a new program to help our members get around. The Stone Bus runs an on-call service at "bus stops" throughout the day (see the map), and also ferries people to + from rituals + mealtimes throughout the event.
- Camera Crew: No technical experience required - if you can take a picture with your phone, you can keep us connected! Tech witches use phones to stream our on-site activities through Zoom. You might get a hat with a camera on it.
Virtual
- Zoom Monitor: Take a shift keeping the Zoom rooms open, so the Lead Tech Witch can take a break to pee. Requires a computer with Zoom installed.

A Reminder - Potomac Availability
A quick note regarding the cabins. The Potomac cabin is the ramp-accessible shared dorm, intended to be reserved by folks with mobility issues. To reserve a room at Potomac, enter code MOBILITY at checkout, but get it reserved soon! We will be releasing the remaining rooms to the general public on August 23rd.

SFG Crew needs you! Calling all Lancaster locals for SFG help
Do you happen to live or work near Lancaster, PA, and are available to help out on either: - Monday morning (8/26) before SFG
- Monday afternoon (9/2) after SFG
We store our trailer with event supplies and stone-moving equipment in Lancaster, and could help transferring gear from the trailer into a rental truck before the event, and transferring gear from the rental truck back into the trailer afterwards. No driving needed, just arms to pick up gear and move it between two trucks!
If so, please let us know by contacting Argon Jon, or emailing admin@stonecirclecouncil.org P.S. You MAY get an exclusive, special patch for helping with this task.... 👀

This year we will have our very own Witch Market! Have any spare candelabras? What about a crystal holder that captures the light brilliantly? Perhaps you have a seashell that would be perfect for an air plant! Whatever you have that no longer is of use to you and you would like to donate to our organization is welcome! Just bring any of your used items to Registration and let us know you’ve got some donations. Payment for items will be a pay as you will. Whatever you think the item is worth! All proceeds go to the sunshine fund and are accepted through Cash or PayPal. Can’t get good service at the market? Write down an IOU and leave it in the jar and our officers will add the payment to your SCC account!

Transitions Ceremony Have you had or will have reached a milestone in your life that you would like to share with the community? Degrees, divorces, (re) names, births, weddings, deaths, graduations, bought a home or car? Let us make a joyful noise where requested or let us hold you in community when needed. Recognition in transitional times is one way we connect & renew in presence of one another. If you would like us to recognize the transition(s) in your life, please let the officers know by Wednesday, August 28th and we will let the ritual team know. This includes our virtual community, let us recognize you as well!

Registration Payment error
We've had a few reports that, when folks go to complete payment for their SFG registrations, they receive a "Payment Gateway Failed" error in Wild Apricot when paying with a credit card.
This issue can happen when using a saved card for a payment. Instead, select "Other card" (see screenshot to the left) and enter your card's details manually, and the payment will go through successfully.
All current invoices have gone through, but if you see the error in the future, just follow the above. And feel free to reach out to the Officers at admin@stonecirclecouncil.org if you need help or want to confirm!
