Yule 2020: Warm Hearths and Warm Hearts

Family,
The road behind was hard and steep. This Yule we hold vigil through the longest night, and walk into the light together. Celebrate the death and birth of the sun through a cycle of ceremonies. We hope you'll join us.

  • start: Saturday, December 19, 9:00 AM EST
  • end: Sunday, December 20, 3:00 PM EST
  • location: virtually Anywhere! through Zoom
  • registration: this is a FREE event

This year's Yule features...

Secret Santa: In lieu of an in-person gift exchange, this year's Yule we're hosting a Secret Santa through the post! Sign up TODAY to participate in our Secret Santa gift exchange! Register through the link by December 7.

Crafting: So. Much. Crafting! Pull out your old projects, or start a new one at our always open Coffee Pavilion. Post your progress updates to our Facebook and Instagram.

Scrapbooking: We're compiling digital submissions for an Officially Unofficial SCC Scrapbook! Avery will be hosting workshops throughout the month showing you how to make digital "scrapbook" pages in Google Slides. (Thank you Eldritch for the idea!) Dig up your old photos (or borrow a friends') and stay tuned.

Stories and Songs: We're hosting a watch party of Frozen and a dramatic reading of Hanz Christian Andersen's "The Snow Queen." Gather round the fire with us.

News and Updates

Calendars: They are IN! We've started shipping out the official Stone Circle Calendars! Get your own while supplies last. Watch the wheel turn with us on swanky SCC merch, featuring:
  • Better pictures than even your cutest kitten calendar, taken by members of our own community.
  • Pre-marked SCC and SCW events, as well as national holidays and moon phases!
  • Fundraising for future SCC events and the Sunshine Fund.
Support your community in style with the first paper calendar I have literally ever bought. Click the link below to get one from our store.

Connect with Community

As we gear up for Yule, the SCC Crafting Coterie (SCC-CC) is a great place for sharing your projects and getting inspired by others! We've got weavers and wood-carvers, painters and potters, felters, smelters and candle-wax melters - all we're missing is you!
